“This short film packs in drama and social satire that could fill an entire feature. It’s fun to be audacious.”
Such a great film…each character was so finely crafted and dead on, art direction, camera, etc etc etc. absolutely beautiful and soo funny too! Many congratulations Bann – keep em coming! And thank you for sharing…..

I love this movie
Well, like my friend Mike said: “not a false note”. A terrific short film. I was left wanting much more. Beautifully subtle in story telling and image ! Bravo!! Not to mention that it was a friend’s dream and I am a peer as well. Tough audience.
AMAZING!!! Very Impressed with your TALENTS! So Privileged to be apart of such a Quality piece of Work!!
I’ve watched hundreds of film shorts over the last 10-15 years and this is absolutely one of my top 5 favorites. It features a strong cast of characters dealing with a private dilemma from multiple perspectives that speaks volumes about who we are and how we treat each other.
Most other filmmakers would’ve stretched this out and diluted the impact that Bann’s artistically tight film emotionally executes. Check it out – you will not be disappointed.
Congratulations to everyone involved. This is a terrific short film. Every frame is excellent. All best wishes for success in Film Festivals and future works from this team.
Excellent and awesome – Art.
Great film: I was blown away!
i just watched the first rough cut of Bann Roy‘s Aashporda twice. It is so kickass – I just LOVED it and laughed out loud – BOTH times. It is rare that a film (that too as a rough cut) can do that. The characters are completely authentic; it’s not slapstick but rib ticklingly funny and layered. Reminiscent of Satyajit Ray. The dialogue and performances are superb. Kudos dude. So proud of you.
